Get started with your Grounded 2 server at YorkHost: dedicated Steam account, choosing a plan, Game Panel access, IP:port and connecting through Lantern.
📄️ Dedicated Steam account and Steam Guard
Grounded 2 server: create a dedicated Steam account, buy the game on it, set STEAM_USER and STEAM_PASS, and enter the Steam Guard code (STEAM_AUTH) safely.
📄️ Joining the server
Join your Grounded 2 server: install the Lantern launcher on Windows, connect by IP:port, why it isn't listed in-game, and why there's no crossplay.
📄️ Configuring the server
Configure your Grounded 2 Lantern server: Startup variables, appsettings.json, RCON remote admin, backups, automatic restarts and mods.
📄️ Troubleshooting
Fix Grounded 2 server issues: Steam errors (credentials, Steam Guard, game not owned), startup, Lantern connection, version mismatch and memory.
