PayPal payments temporarily unavailable

Payments via PayPal are currently unavailable on YorkHost, due to a hold placed on our merchant account by PayPal.
Your services are not affected. Your servers, VPS and hosting keep running normally, and your active subscriptions are not interrupted in any way.
All other payment methods remain fully available for your payments and renewals.
What is going on
Our business PayPal account is currently subject to a hold placed by PayPal. This kind of measure is decided unilaterally by PayPal and only concerns our merchant account.
In practice, it simply means that, for now, you cannot pay via PayPal on YorkHost. Everything else works as usual.
We have started the process with PayPal to resolve the situation and are waiting for their response. This page will be updated as soon as the service is restored.
Are your services affected?
No. This hold is purely administrative and only concerns the PayPal payment method. In practice:
- Your servers, VPS and hosting run normally, without interruption.
- Your active subscriptions remain active.
- Your data is not affected.
- No action is required on your side.
How to pay in the meantime?
All our other payment methods remain available as usual, directly from your client area:

Will my subscription be cut off if I was paying with PayPal?
No. Simply choose another available payment method for your next renewal. Your services will not be interrupted for this reason.
I have a recurring payment (automatic subscription) set up on PayPal, what happens?
Automatic charges via PayPal are suspended while the hold lasts. Remember to pay your next renewal manually with another payment method, or set up a new recurring payment by card from your client area.
Is YorkHost in trouble?
No. This is an administrative hold on PayPal's side, unrelated to the health of our business. Our services and infrastructure are running normally.
When will PayPal be available again?
We cannot guarantee a precise timeline, as the decision is up to PayPal. We are doing everything we can for a quick restoration and will update this page as soon as it happens.
I already paid via PayPal, did my payment go through?
Payments completed before the hold were properly processed. If you have any doubt about a specific payment, contact us via a ticket and we will check.
