Datacenter housing, also known as server colocation, is renting a physical space (from 1U to a full 42U rack) in a professional datacenter to install your own servers. YorkHost provides the infrastructure (space, A+B power, cooling, network connectivity, physical security, anti-DDoS), while you remain the owner of your hardware.

How much does datacenter housing cost at YorkHost?

Is anti-DDoS included in datacenter colocation?
Yes, all our datacenter housing and colocation offers include free anti-DDoS protection by Gcore and Stormwall, with automatic mitigation on all ports.
Can I physically access my colocated servers?
Yes. Depending on the datacenter, access is either accompanied (by appointment with a technician), via secure badge for autonomous access during business hours, or 24/7 on request. The Remote Hands service also allows you to request a physical intervention remotely.
What network bandwidth comes with housing in France?
Our datacenter colocation offers include a network port of your choice: 1 Gbps (RJ45), 10 Gbps (SFP+) or 40 Gbps (QSFP+), with a 25 Mbps commit included and the option to add up to 2 Gbps of additional commit at €0.80/Mbps.
