    Install

    curl -fsSL …/install.sh | sh

    The script detects your system, downloads the latest release and checks its SHA-256 checksum. .deb, .rpm and .apk packages, PowerShell and go install are available too.

    Sign in

    yorkhost login

    Your browser opens your client area: two-factor authentication, then you pick the permissions and services the CLI can access.

  3. 03

    Manage

    yorkhost vps restart 1234

    One shape for everything: yorkhost <resource> <verb>. Point to a service by ID or by name, shell completion does the rest.

    Automate

    yorkhost vps list -o json | jq

The CLI is built on YorkHost’s public client API, the one behind the MCP server and the mobile app. Anything without a dedicated command, yorkhost api sends as is; and yorkhost mcp prints the setup to plug Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code into your account.

    OAuth sign-in with PKCE in your client area; two-factor authentication is required and re-checked by the API.

  • Permissions you choose

    You tick what the CLI can do and on which services. A key can also be limited to certain IPs.

  • Revoke in one click

    yorkhost logout, or API keys → Connected applications in the client area.

  • No accidental actions

    Stopping, deleting and ordering ask for confirmation; an order always starts with a quote.

  • No payment in the terminal

    Invoices are paid on the client area’s secure page (3-D Secure, PayPal, credit).

  • Open source

    Public code under the MIT license, binaries with SHA-256 checksums verified at install time.
